I’m running into an issue with the activity stream — it seems as though some entries are being obscured by the entry above it.  Attached is a screenshot.  Any ideas how to fix this?

Found a solution using custom css.  But maybe still worth bringing to your attention, Scott.  Not sure if this is a common issue or just happened to us for some reason.

    Hi Stephen  @stevedtj –

Its funny – I looked at your site (great site, by the way!) yesterday afternoon and scrolled down the activity stream to where the screenshot was taken, and I didn’t see the issue. (I was using a Mac with Firefox.)  Maybe you had put in the CSS fix by then?

Do you think that maybe there was a plugin conflict that was causing it?  I haven’t seen the issue on other sites.  Did it just occur on that one activity item or was it more wide-spread?  (Perhaps the content was cut/pasted and some inadvertent tags got included that threw off the display?)

Thanks!  Any clues would be appreciated.

Hey Scott — Thanks for the reply.  At that point we had already fixed it with custom css.  Maybe it was plugin conflict, could be that we switched templates and had done some custom work, maybe somehow there were issues in the switchover.

The issue occurred on multiple items in the activity stream, but seemed to be directly related to whether it was a reply to something. If it had that reply indented type of formatting, it would push up the first line so it would be underneath the entry above.

Anyway we are on somewhat of a deadline to get the new CBOX version of the site up, so I’m not sure I’ll have enough time to go back and try to troubleshoot the issue. We do have some activity stream plugins installed (activity stream plus and the wp dev activity stream widget plugin), maybe there is a conflict with one of those.
