My activation and lost password emails are going round in circles.

    1. When you click through on the activation link then sign in, you receive a message saying ERROR: Your account has not been activated. Check your email for the activation link. Even if new activation codes are sent.

    2. For lost password you receive another link via email saying click on it to reset password. but when clicked it takes you to a page saying ‘Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid’.and to enter username or email again. This continues ad infinitum.

I have tried disabling wp super cache and all in one wp security (although they are not new) but no success. Bizarrely the new members appear both in unconfirmed and the all users lists (but not on the front-end). All was well until yesterday, no new plugins fora long time and no updates in the last few days. New members were registering effectively up until yesterday (although 6 were caught in unconfirmed but that was more to do with activation email ending up in hotmail and gmail spam – once they were advised to check their spam folder they all successfully activated)

Any advice on what to try in order to release my latest members would be great 🙂

CBOX has its roots in the CUNY Academic Commons, which in turn was made possible through funding from The City University of New York itself.
