So I reinstalled new theme to replace botched up 404.php code but I have the square brackets back on my slider and more importantly when the site is viewed in safari it now appears as a long list of links and images (fine in IE). This is my second week of failing to launch so if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.

In case it helps anyone else my problems with safari were caused by a minify plugin.
