<p>Akismet only catches my new topics as spam when I edit a new topic twice, and it does that every time, consistently. Then, it often blocks me when I try to post it anew (&#8220;you already said that.&#8221;)</p>

<p>We tried the mu- plugin but it did not work! The file types showed in list of allowed mime types, but we could not upload LaTeX files.<br />
We then installed your recommended plugin (wp-add-mime-types) and that did work!</p>

<p>Our pdf embedder is network activated.</p>
