I was able to move the themes over to the correct “themes” folder. I network installed them and it seems to have fixed the blog link navigating away from the groups. Will keep exploring.

So how do I take the bundled themes from the “themes” folder and use
them? I am guessing I can use my web hosting site’s file manager and
transfer them to the right directory? Or do I need to download them and
then upload them. In order to do that I need to know what I am

I will keep you apprised. It seems as though someone out there must have
been interested in using groups in this manner. It seems like having
tools to coordinate a “team” makes sense.
Hope someone has some experience. I will look for a buddy press project
managment plugin to start with. You are right that compatibility is
important.

I was curious about this problem. I went to track it, and it asks for a password when you click on the link.

I found there is also a similar plugin called wordbook, though it seems to have a little less documentation and less functionality.

This happens when I try to reply to the forum here. I have not tried it
on my install yet, as I am mostly exploring with a local installation

Thanks… I took a look and I have tos ay, I really like how the forum is displayed on the page.

It would be nice to have a way to close a forum thread and have it easily found.

It is the same account. I am using Thunderbird as an email client.

That does look interesting. Like the ability to upload pics and post etc.
However, what I really want is a way to access and post to forums, and file depositories that might be of use.
