Ryan SeslowParticipantHi Syelle!
I see, OK, when I open the URL link directly and expand my web browser window to maximum things look better than the screen shot that you sent (see my screen shot of that here – via desktop that is ) – a quick fix may be removing the “Course Hub” part from the title and adding it to the course description section instead (if that is an option?) If not, Id like to ask Boone to weigh in on a suggestion for expanding that title section.
🙂

Ryan SeslowParticipantHi Ed,
Thanks for this! WordPress certainly has a few e-mail related issues, this is the first that I have read about this particular issue, Im going to default to Bree and Boone on this but will also see what I can find in the interim –

Ryan SeslowParticipantCatching up on this thread now, thanks All, indeed the most efficient UI and UX plays a role, thanks Bree for reposting this again – (Better control over toolbar display on subsites)
Helpful!

Ryan SeslowParticipantThanks Ray! Will ask Chris and Boone about this plug in as it could be a good option as well! Thanks!

Ryan SeslowParticipantThanks so much Ray! This is super helpful, as I was wondering how much ability one has to make those inputs themselves here versus reaching out to the DEV team to do it, or discovering an existing plug-in that converts things. Thank you!

Ryan SeslowParticipantIm digging into this and will be back in touch soon with info – in the meantime, did you already clear the web browser cache on your browser and also reboot the machine? The WordPress media library will reject uploads from cached pages. Its always worth a try. 🙂
February 22, 2021 at 5:22 pm #8825
Ryan SeslowParticipantOK, by default the WP media library only allows a few file format types (for security purposes) the most common are –
- Images like .png, .gif, .jpg
- Documents such as .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf
- Audio like .wav, .mp3, .mp4
- Video like .mpg, .mov, .wmv
Im thinking, in the past you used a plug-in to add the LaTeX file or the plug-in converted it, Im going to take a peek at our plug-in roster and see if there is a compatible option, back soon 🙂
