I am having a couple of problems with shortcodes (specifically Ajax Event Calendar and wp job alerts). They function as expected in the admin section of the site but are not displaying on the front end at all, having previously worked fine. I have updated both of those plugins recently and I was wondering whether there is anything in the commons package that may now be in conflict. I can’t think of anything that would as neither are buddypress specific but thought I would ask just in case.
Hi Sam – I just installed the Ajax Calendar on my test CBOX site and it seems to work okay. Haven’t fully tested yet – Could it be that it is conflicting with another plugin that you have running?
Thanks for trying that Scott, I haven’t added anything new recently, although I have updated a few plugins. Slightly bizarre but I shall try disabling the ones I have recently updated to see if they are the cause. Thanks again for ruling the commons ‘pending update’ plugins out.
