Are there instructions on how to add content to the homepage slider?  I added a post to the site features and played with the homepage options in the theme, and nothing, can’t get it to change.  Any advise?

Hi Amelia – You can go to “Site Features” on your dashboard, “Add New”, and there enter the title and the content you want to appear on your slider.  Then “Add Media” – find the image you want to use, and be sure to set it as “Featured Image.”  (i.e. don’t hit insert to post).  You should see it appear under “featured image” on the right.  You’ll need to do this for each sliding image.

And yes, thanks – we should provide some instructions for this.  It is a bit mysterious!  Let us know if this helps.

Hi Amelia – Just to let you know – I did a little testing of the slider and found one issue which the developers have just fixed.  But that change probably will not get pushed up to the WP repository till early next week.  Just so you don’t go crazy trying to get the slider to slide – currently it only displays the first image.

I finally got an  image in the slider, however, how to I adjust the height on it? I can’t seem to get it any taller than 214.

    Hi amelia,

Right now the images are automatically scaled based on the width of the slider container. This ensure that the slider lines up nicely with the widget on the right. In the feature I’d like to give site admins the ability to play around with the slider height/width but chances are that won’t make it into v1 of CBOX 🙂
