I’m looking to create a search page rather than a widget.

I started with this [http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Search_Page], but I’m not sure how much of the directions I need to modify to work with the CBOX theme since it uses the Infinity engine.

Also, when I go to my /search/ page, it keep redirecting to the homepage.

Hi Geoff – We have some documentation of the possibilities here:

The plugin we use on the CUNY Academic Commons is called Google Custom Search – it lets you create a popup window with search results, and I think, a configurable page.

CBOX has its roots in the CUNY Academic Commons, which in turn was made possible through funding from The City University of New York itself.
