    Within a Group page I can currently only create Buddypress Docs.  I would also like to upload other documents e.g. PDFs. Is that possible?

     

    Does it need an additional plugin?

    Or, failing that, how I would put a url link into a ‘shell’ document pointing to a file on my server?  And where in the wordpress  directory structure would be the best place to put such content?

    To answer my own question, this plugin does the trick …

    GD bbPress Attachments
    Settings | Deactivate | Edit

    Implements attachments upload to the topics and replies in bbPress plugin through media library and adds additional forum based controls.
