Confirmation email message

    Hi,

    We have run into problems of confirmation emails that didn’t reach destination, mainly stuck in spamboxes. We thought this may be caused by the ‘simplicity’ of the message.

    I couldn’t find where to customize this message and the sending address. Is this possible without touching the code? And if not, is it something that could be customised in a future version?

    Hi Helene – You might want to try a BP regisration plugin like “Welcome Pack” – http://wordpress.org/plugins/welcome-pack/ that lets you customize email messages.  Gravity Forms also has this functionality – see http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/how-to-creating-your-own-buddypress-welcome-email but it is a premium plugin and it looks like you would need the most expensive license to accomplish want you want.  You can shop around for other plugins too.

    This customization is not on the CBOX radar screen currently.
