We have just launched a Media@McGill POOC using Commons in a Box (www.pcond.ca/pooc). However, we are experiencing a few issues that if and when resolved will greatly help our users to have a better experience. The issues are as follow. Thanks for your inputs!
1. A regular participant does not receive an email notification whenever someone comments on their comment on the platform. How can we solve this?
2. We have installed a plugin for mass-messaging whitin the platofrm, but it doesn’t work properly. It doesn’t send a message to all the participants, just a few (maybe half). And we don’t know why. We need to be able to send mass-messages through the platform to all. Any idea how to solve this?
3. Regular participants need to be able to edit and or delete their comments. As of now only the administrators/keymasters can edit/delete their comments. Maybe a plug-in needs to be installed?
4. How can we change the email address of the person who receives the email notification for posts to be moderated, new participants to register, etc.? Even when we change the user profile and permissions of a user to adminsitrator and keymaster, nothing changes in terms of notification emails. Any idea how to solve this?
