You can download the zip file from the link at the top right of that page. BP 2.6 definitely throws fatal errors when the fixes are not made to BP Group Hierarchy.

What happens if you disable that plugin? Does your problem still occur?

I have updated this issue on github.  Marci Abraham (@marci) has also recently noticed this issue.  I don’t think the footer (in general) is accurately reflecting the changes made in the cbox options panel.
