@ray and @scottvoth just wanted to tell you I emailed Akismet about the spam issue & Anthony replied and said all should be back to normal now, to let them know if if there are any further issues. Hopefully this hiccup is behind us 🙂 thanks for your help with solving this!
Hi Mary, your post was still marked as spam! 🙁 But I’ve unspammed it. Maybe it takes awhile for Akismet to update its algorithm?
This is getting really annoying! I just tried to post a reply in the thread about the menu background colors & it at 1st showed it, but then when I went to edit it to add your name it disappeared and now isn’t showing up anymore. That Akismet is a royal PITA LOL Please check on that post for me so it will be seen & you or someone can reply/look into it. Thanks.

In the meantime, about your spam problems, sometimes changing your email address that is associated with your account will fix the issue. Maybe give that a shot?

Just an added thought, but these issues with the posts not showing up and being marked as spam may be why there aren’t more active members here. Most people don’t have a lot of patience to trouble shoot these things and probably just give up and go elsewhere to find a theme to use. Just curious, do you find many new members registering then not continuing to be active? This spam/Akismet issue may be why IMHO 🙂
