Aha — yes, I see the problem. We can work on this for a future version.

Two thoughts/questions/observations:
1. It’s possible that the issue you’re having has to do with the Read Later plugin. Have you tried disabling that to see whether the slider issues persist?
2. Have you looked at the documentation for the slider? It looks to me like there may be some issues with the image sizes you’re using.
For the specific issues you mentioned:

Can you attach a screenshot or include a link?
November 12, 2013 at 5:41 pm #3879Matthew K GoldModeratorHi Sam — please check the ticket Scott linked to learn more about where we
are with this.November 12, 2013 at 11:08 am #3877Matthew K GoldModerator> Am I right in thinking that if we manually activate at our end we still need the member to sign in again before they appear on the members list?
Yes, that’s correct. The only way I can think of to find out whom you’ve activated manually is that if you know the dates on which you activated accounts from Unconfirmed, you might be able to go into the database and cross-reference those activation dates and find those accounts.
November 9, 2013 at 11:13 am #3861Matthew K GoldModeratorHi Sam —
I’ll let others chime in on how to alter the registration page text. I did want to alert you to a plugin developed by the CUNY Academic Commons that might help — Unconfirmed – http://wordpress.org/plugins/unconfirmed/
We’ll explore adding that and other community management tools to a future CBOX release.
Best,
Matt

November 5, 2013 at 8:29 pm #3793Matthew K GoldModeratorIn my experience, this is what happens when one tries to access a private
group or private doc as a non-logged-in user. Any chance that’s what is
going on here?So glad you are enjoying CBOX — thanks for using it!
August 30, 2013 at 7:56 am #3550Matthew K GoldModerator> You’re planning to develop a special CBOX plugin or integrate another existing one ?
Our plans right now involve developing a special version of CBOX that would serve as a teaching platform. At this point, I don’t think that we’re planning to integrate BP Courseware, but if that changes, I’ll let you know.
August 28, 2013 at 3:44 pm #3538Matthew K GoldModeratorI’m excited, too. For a live example of a professor using CBOX for a
course, check out http://www.dighum.paulschacht.us/Best,

August 28, 2013 at 8:33 am #3533Matthew K GoldModerator“I believe it should be… integrate in the commons in box”
Not sure whether or not that will happen, but I *can* tell you that we are planning to work on having CBOX come in different “flavors,” with various themes and plugins and settings already set up, and one of them is a teaching version of CBOX. Not sure whether we’ll include BP Courseware in that (we probably won’t if the code is out of date and needs extensive work), but we will be working towards a version of CBOX that is customized as a teaching platform.
August 25, 2013 at 10:05 pm #3529Matthew K GoldModeratorI think that Boone contributed to BP Courseware at an early stage (and in
an advisory capacity), but the main architect of the project was Stas
Sușcov. Not sure whether he’s still working on it, but you can contact him
for more info: http://stas.nerd.ro/ .August 21, 2013 at 2:45 pm #3507Matthew K GoldModeratorThanks, @dan-jones. @cbox_admin, can you let us know your thoughts about Dan’s suggestions and whether any of them can be implemented through BP Docs as the plugin now stands? Thanks.
August 21, 2013 at 1:17 pm #3504Matthew K GoldModeratorI may be wrong, @dan-jones, but I think that most, if not all, of that functionality already exists through BuddyPress Docs.
